One of the best things to come out of nokia’s stable in recent tims. It is the cheapest cellphone to host an NFC chip, the future of e commerce. No other cellphone hositng an NFC chip is priced below 30K rs in the Indian market. 
In order of O.S usability and ease of use, IOS4> Meego> Symbian Belle> Symbian Anna> Windows mango> Android.
Android is a failure. If your primary usage for a cell phone is to use it like a PHONE, then android is the worst o.s out there. even gingerbread and ICS, do not support application installations on memory card. you can only install the DATA used by an application on the memory card, but the appication itself resides on your smartphone. Android in its present form is filled with bugs, is a battery drainer, and totally useless if your primary usage of cellphone is a PHONE or a multimedia device.
Coming back to this phone, the finish looks nice, good to hold. reminds me of the c-07 when it comes to the finish. the sound quality is nice, touchscreen responsive. overall i would rate the interface a solid 8 out of 10. What could have been improved is the somewhat copied from android UI. They could have been more innovative and included the UI from MeeGo.
the battery life lasts for about 24 hours odd, with 2 hours of wifi usage, 3 hours of gaming, and 50 minutes of talktime.
The secondary camera is total crap, so dont expect to make very good video calls. The primary camera is kind of ok, not aas good as the other cams nokia has in their stable.
Coming to its killer feature, the NFC chip. i did not have a compatible cellphone to test the NFC features with another cell phone, but i did manage to test it with a NFC enabled atm here in LA. a bit of tweaking of nokia money and it worked like a charm. This is most defninitely the phones stand out feature, and the future of e commerce for me. I would not mind carrying out all my future transactions using NFC. a pity then, that nokia is advertising NFC simply to transfer media between two cellphones. morons..
Overall, a solid 7 out of 10 for nika 701. Belle is smart, actractive, and better than your ex in all manners. The price of the cellphone is another icing on the cake, as you will not get a cheaper NFC enabled cellphone on a market. But this, if you are looking to buy a PHONE.
